Vans "Paint Drip Slip" Sk8 Hi

Here is another Sk8 Hi that dropped over in Japan. If you think that we get good Vans, think again. Japan has this whole game on lock. The design on this shoe is crazy. White paint drops all around the shoe, black canvas (or suede) uppers and white stitching all around. The inner lining of the shoe is multi-colored with paint drops as well. This shoe, or rather I should say piece of art, is one very unique design.

Vans x Anti Hero / Alien Workshop / Baker

For Fall 2007, Vans is working with 3 huge board companies that represent what skateboarding and Vans is all about. Anti Hero, Alien Workshop and Baker were the 3 chosen companies for this project. Vans designed these shoes with various pro riders in order to develop a package of shoes that salutes these companies on what they have done for skateboarding.

The pack includes a DD66, AV Era, TNT II and a TNT II Mid. Be on the lookout for these because they should be dropping at your local skate shops very soon.

So, Marc Jacobs is dropping more and more Slip Ons. The word is that Marc Jacobs is going to drop Slip Ons every so often. So be on the lookout for them to drop at your local Marc Jacobs store.

Vans x Supreme x Neighborhood "Troops of Tomorrow"

NEIGHBORHOOD?!?!?!?!?

Yes, Neighborhood is part of one of the craziest collabo Vans ever. The shoes that we saw before were only labeled as Vans x Supreme, but now Neighborhood has hoped on these pair of shoes.

Secret Base has reported that Supreme will be the only store to stock the Red model, Neighborhood will be the only store to stock the Black model and the White model will be shared between both stores. Word is that the Sk8 Highs will be around $152 USD and the Chukkas should be around $143 USD. There is no release date yet but this release is going to be pretty crazy.

I personally like the final shoe. I like the writing on the logo better that the first pair of samples that we saw. This release is going to be crazy. Supreme and Neighborhood are two of the hottest brands out to date. Just think of the Neighborhood x Supreme release. Just a little insight on how hot these kicks are going to be.

Vans x Hosoi Part II

It's been a while, but there is no better way to come back with some exciting news. Vans dropped the Christian Hosoi Sk8 Hi retro model about a year ago. As it is already known, Christian Hosoi is one of the most famous legendary skateboarders of his time, who got caught into drugs and eventually got locked up.

Christian Hosoi turned his life around and created Hosoi Skateboards, which it's legendary logo is the rising sun. This new pair of Sk8 His that is suppose to drop is another perspective of his legendary rising son. The first pair of Hosois sold out instantly at numerous stores and I don't doubt that this pair will do the exact same. The word on release date is around Spring '08.

I'm a huge basketball fan...and this blog happens to be pretty damn funny.

On a side note W/Taps Vans have started to drop already. I have seen people post the Sk8 His. So be on the lookout for these at your local syndicate shops.

I'm Happy...

on this little pickup the mailman dropped off today. I passed on these when they were all over stores and I really regretted it. I finally found my size for pretty cheap and all I can say is "Why did I ever pass on these?!?!?!?".

Nonetheless straight FIRE!

Vans "Hippie" Pack

We have seen Vans do a lot of different packs of shoes and yet Vans has come out with another pack. This new pack is dedicated to the Hippies of the 60s. The "Hippie" pack features a psychedelic, peace & love, floral and very loud colored print all around the shoe. In remembrance of the Hippie movement, Vans threw all these prints on a Slip On and a Prison Issue. It is rumored that there will be more styles of shoes that this print will be available on.

These should be available at your local Vans spots so go check em out.

Vans x New Era

Yes, Vans has stepped over into the New Era game. New Era has been HUGE lately, and I guess it was inevitable that Vans was going to do their own.

Vans did 2 styles, a flannel print with the Vans logo embroidered on the back and a royal blue one with the "Vans Off The Wall" logo with 3D embroidery on the front.

You can cop these hats at Kickback Berlin but be on the lookout for these at your local store, because I am sure they should be dropping anytime soon.
