More Vans Samples

So I was hit with a message from one of the readers and he hooked me up with some sample pics of some Vans that are suppose to be dropping. No word on when a potential release date is, but some of these pairs are just some hot shoes to look at.

First up is another pair of W)Taps samples. Looks like Vans has a lot ahead of them with W)Taps.



Here are some other samples. Some noted ones that look to be promising are the Moutain Editions, Orange and the Purple & Black Half Cabs and the Iron Maiden IIs.

Vans x Motorhead

Yet, another Vans collaboration to hit shelves soon. However this time around it is a collaboration with Motorhead, which is Geoff Rowley's favorite band. This collaboration features the Geoff Rowley classic model and the Geoff Rowley Squares model with the Motorhead graphic on the side panel of the shoe. The shoes will also come with special edition Motorhead laces.

The 1st pair of shoes was released in Spring '07 and now the second shoe is part of the Fall '07 collection, so be on the lookout for these.

W)Taps Vans Samples

So, I heard from a friend that he heard from a friend that Vans is going to be dropping more W)Taps Vans. So I tried to do my research and search around for some pics and this is all I could find. Since they are being pictured with the Mr. Cartoon Sk8 Highs, hopefully they should drop in the Fall.

Detailed Vans 50-50 Half Cab Pics

So just like I told all of you before, 50-50 is releasing a pair of Half Cabs in commemoration of their 10th anniversary. As you all should know this pair of Half Cabs is releasing on August 24th at the world famous 50-50 skateboard shop over in the UK. If you aren't around the United Kingdom, you better make some connects out there or hope for the best that a pair pops up on illustrious and wonderful site with auctions.

Well there are only going to be 197 pairs of these bad boys that are releasing. These pictures are the final product of the pictures we saw before. The shoes look to be suede all over, with the 50-50 logo on the back heel of the shoe and the insole. The final blue is a lot different that the pictures we saw of the first sample, but nonetheless this pair of Half Cabs are fire.

Vans "Money" Sk8 Hi

Vans has been coming out with some insane prints of shoes and this falls directly under that category. Vans created a special "Money" edition for their Sk8 Hi model. Vans did these shoes with full grain, green leather all over the shoe and with dollar signs covering the inner lining of the shoe. Pretty innovative design on the inner but the "Money" edition Sk8 Hi will be pretty affordable at roughly $65 for a pair. These should be at your local Vans retailers very soon.

Vans x Thrasher "Skater of the Year" Pack

Vans and Thrasher are such a good combination in the skateboarding world, you can basically compare them to peanut butter and jelly. Both brands have decided to release a pack to the Skate of the Year Award, which Thrasher has been handing out for the past 17 years. Vans has 3 pro riders who have gotten the Skater of the Year Award since Thrasher has been handing them out. Geoff Rowley, Tony Trujillo and John Cardiel all got to receive this infamous award.

The Vans x Thrasher "Skater of The Year" Pack features the styles of a TNT III Slip On, Old School and Squares. Each shoe is a customized version of each rider's own pro shoe, two all over print shirts and two trucker hats. This collaboration is set to hit stores in Fall '07.

Vans "Paint Drip Slip" Sk8 Hi

Here is another Sk8 Hi that dropped over in Japan. If you think that we get good Vans, think again. Japan has this whole game on lock. The design on this shoe is crazy. White paint drops all around the shoe, black canvas (or suede) uppers and white stitching all around. The inner lining of the shoe is multi-colored with paint drops as well. This shoe, or rather I should say piece of art, is one very unique design.

Vans x Anti Hero / Alien Workshop / Baker

For Fall 2007, Vans is working with 3 huge board companies that represent what skateboarding and Vans is all about. Anti Hero, Alien Workshop and Baker were the 3 chosen companies for this project. Vans designed these shoes with various pro riders in order to develop a package of shoes that salutes these companies on what they have done for skateboarding.

The pack includes a DD66, AV Era, TNT II and a TNT II Mid. Be on the lookout for these because they should be dropping at your local skate shops very soon.
